looking at getting a flatbed.. just the transit size one (beaver tail)

i know with a car on the back you can be under the 7.5 tonn limit but is there anything i need to add to my licence?

what about the ones with the dual wheel axel? ( 4 tyres/wheels on the same axel basically)

any help/info would be great

Your limit is 3.5t then, not 7.5.

Yeah, i need to do this too as i want to get a track car next year. Very expensive though.

you can still drive a truck with a car on the back, just nothing to big.

Yeah you should be able to get a 3.5 tonner that'll carry around 1.5 tonne.

Would a trailer not be more practical/cost effective?

You need to stay under 3.5t on your licence. Up to 7.5 needs C1. You would also need a tacho if you're over 3.5t and driving commercially. Can probably be done but don't carry anything too heavy.

Pretty sure you'll need to a take an extra test for any trailer big enough to carry a car too.

no you dont have a look on here as there is a bit of info on what trailer will do

i have a ldv recovery truck weighs bang on 2 tonns so i can carry 1.5 tonns and my corsa will be under 1 tonn so im still half a tonn under my limit
