I didn't think I'd say this but I might buy it, I quite liked MW2 but BO was a big pile of fuck. If this plays like MW2 but with dedicated servers, less gay kill streaks than BO then I might give it a go. BF3 will still be my game of choice this year though.

I will admit playing MW2 last night made me remember how ghey the kill streaks are, Pave low and harriers are just shit, you spend more time being shot by an automated killer rather than a player

I liked HC SD on MW2, ended up playing with the same bunch of guys all the time so it was really balanced. I literally played BO 4 or 5 times, hated it.

Why did you hate it? We jumped on MW2 the other night for the first time in a while and the amount of bullshit was just ridiculous.

Constant problems for months on the PC, got fed up of playing games with terrible lag. Wasnt a great fan of the currency either. I ended up sticking with BC2.

Ah I've got no experience with the PC. We do occasionally still get the odd game where the lag is terrible.. Pain in the arse. It jst feels like a more evolved game to me though. I did enjoy BC2.. the sound engine was awesome if I remember.. And I liked the whole pushing select to call out enemies thing and being able to create a class on the fly. I just never got into it because it felt slightly slower paced.

It's such a shame Treyarch and InfinityWard develop for the same studio and with the same title as Treyarchs games do not hold a candle to InfinityWards installments in the series.
COD4 and MW2 are epic games on the edge of perfection.
WAW and BO are mediocre games where the only good parts are the ones taken directly from the MW titles. And perhaps the Zombie bits...
There is not a doubt in my mind that MW3 will be a fantastic game with a thoroughly worked through multiplayer. I already love it.

Except for the fact it will get hacked within a week of release or some of the gun/attachment combos will be stupidly over powered and IW won't do anything about it.
At least Treyarch are hot on with updates, patches, fix's etc.
