Me. T in the Park veteran so this is my first year of change and I am off to Rockness. Hope it's good as the line up isn't that inspiring this year

Rockness is 20miles from my house, I've been every year,
I've noticed it's turning into a nedfest.

Can't be as bad as T in the Park, never see much trouble but its the tents getting robbed that annoys me
How much extra is it to get VIP camping? A shower sounds tempting, but I worried it wouldnt be as good a laugh!

U can camp in norm bit then use vip facilities. Just gives u extras like cctv, showers, phone chargers, flushing loo access, more food n drinks, extra indoor/ outdoor areans, chairs etc
Ill be dressed as flava flav. Was world cup heros last year (i was in a germany top lol) keep an eye out!

I've been tempted by VIP too. I wanna bring my camera but i'd need lockers to keep it in when i'm not using it.

Yeah, I got mine for the £99 early bird deal too (well £99 plus booking fee, but hey ho!)
I wouldnt bother taking an expensive camera, will end up damaged or you'll fall asleep and leave it on a road again.

Vip was about 40 quid more, always worth it in the grand scheme of things. I never take anything expensive

Never had VIP at any festival and I think I first went to T in the Park in 2000. Showers are overrated! Its the only time you can get away with not washing for a few days unless you're ill!

I think having a shower would ruin the whole experience of camping in a field and rolling out your tent, brushing your teeth and then cracking open a tin of cider to dtart your day

im not a dirty scruffy hobo student or something. A nice shower will clean you up and enjoy everything more, refreshed. I can still drink my JD in the shower if i wanted to

No queues for drinks, private arena, better access..., toilets with no queues etc. Not really much money extra
