As you might of seen, I am looking to buy this VXR:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-VAUXHALL-ASTRA-VXR-LIME-GREEN-/330568197139?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cf7666413&clk_rvr_id=235584964211

Ive got my Octavia for running to work in, and it would be getting kept.

The skoda is insured with admiral, £700 a year iirc. VXR quotes are coming in at £1600. Id only be running it in the summer months, garaged for the winter.

Could I take a new covernote out every month I need it for? Or would admiral tell me to gtf? Or could I take out a seperate policy, and cancel it for the winter?

It's not cheap, I insure the Mazda through Admiral with 0 NCB and the Alfa through IAM Surety with my full NCB

I use admiral multi car policy. Costs under £800 for both Corrado and escort.

No silly limited mileage on either car. Think both are fully comp too.

Took a while of moaning to get quote down. They wanted £1200 at first
