hi
danny off here has just changed the loom x16xe in corsa cos my old1 was wrecked with an alarm system.
and still nothing .....
it turned over before but just wouldnt run,
cos the ecu was fucked by the loom
ive changed the ecu for another1 with transponder and chip ect but where they plug in, its different colours danny thinks this matters .... does it ??
car wont even turn over, iv tryed putting old ecu kit on but nothing there either.
am confused .......

yep, early ones the pins are in a different order to the late ones, iirc early ones had purple and brown plugs on the ecu and later had red and white. could be wrong though ages since iv looked at one.

early ones had red and cream iirc
later ones had red and white
You will need a complete engine look for it to work with that ecu
I had to swap the whole loom over on a mates corsa when we realised the same problem mate.
or get the correct ecu

I'm sure mine is blue and red plugs for the ecu not sure though
Wouldn't it be alot easier to get the ecu key and transponder from the car you got the wiring loom from?
