Credit to Microsoft, they are certainly starting to lag behind in terms of the technology market, but the above Table Interface actually looks quite impressive.
The interface looks very clean and modern.

Some of the animations could be a little more fluid, but in general I think it looks good.

A tablet like the iPad or the android equivalents, using an ARM processor with decent battery life, running proper windows would be amazing.

Looks good though for tablet/touchscreen based systems not sure how well it'll work for desktops.

First they tried to say that their Windows 7 worked perfectly fine for tablets (which is of course wrong).

Now they have designed an UI that is clearly designed for small touch devices and want to tell us that this works for computers just as well?

Looks like its gonna own the iPad.

Proper file system is awsome.

If thats what the windows phone is like i may be tempted to move from being a iPhone fanboi
