Looking at new jobs and trying to work out how long I want to spend in the car a day so thought I'd see what other people do
So what is your daily commute, distance and duration?

About 10miles now, which isn't too bad as long as there's no assholes causing accidents on the M60.

3 miles, takes 10mins tops. Don't think I'd want it to be any further/longer than that.

depending on where I stay (mine, the missus or Mum and Dad's) It's between 29 and 37miles each way; 58 to 74miles daily.
Commuting time doesn't vary much as a result to which house I stay at but traffic, time of day, roadworks and tractors/farmers/cows in the road can make it anywhere from 1hour each way to 2hours each way.
Shortest I've ever done it in was 38minutes in the middle of the night

I don't know how you people do such long commutes.
I can barely wake up in the morning as it is!

I'm currently doing about 9 miles each way which takes 15-30 minutes
Seen a couple of jobs that are about 90 miles each way but all motorway so should be around 90 minutes. Just trying to work out if it's feasible

to be honest, I'm starting to get later and later into the office as I hate getting up. I just make it up at the other end of the day but getting up and driving for (on average) 1hr20 to get to work is so off putting that bed is a far more attractive option

That doesn't sound too bad, but if there was an accident that 90min journey could end up being 5-6hrs or somethin
I don't like being too far away, think the furthest I've work is about 30miles each way and that was bad enough at the best of times.

I used to travel from Oxford to Feltham (Heathrow Airport) and back every day years ago, that was a fun commute - NOT.

I'd never drive 90 miles to work. I hate driving that far to visit friends and that's for parties or fun.

There was a bomb scare at McDonalds in Macclesfield a couple of years ago so they shut the bypass. My 37 mile journey took 6hrs30mins. Slightest accident or roadworks can easily add 50% to your journey time too. I'd never consider more mileage than I already do. 90miles is a killer

10 miles drive, 1.5 miles walk.
Anywhere from 40 mins to an hour, would rather do much less tbh, takes a large chunk out of my day.
