at what temp does your fan kick in?


i got a manual operated fan switch wired up to were gsi front fog switches go and im switching it on around 97-98 and off at about 94ish

mine seems to vairy slightly,dont know if there might be a problem but it can come on anywhere between 94 and 99?

my mate had a 1.5d B and his kicked in at about 105

What it says on the gauge can vary between cars depending on how accurate it is. The fan switchs come on at 100 and go off at 95. Irreverent as to what the gauge says.

how do you go about wiring in a manal switch to operate the fan then?

wey i had new rad, gm fan switch, temp sensor, coolant, wires all checked, fuses etc... fan checked the lot and i had no joy, only thing i can imagine is that the fan didn't work due to it only getting 10v, so i attached this system and its spot on, just wondered what temp i should be hitting the switch
