To find a decent standard 1.4 or 1.6 Sport these days?

Im thinking of going back into Corsa ownership for a little while and sacking off the Jeep to try and squeeze a few pennies a month.

I have looked on AT and not one near me, theres a couple on PH but most are chavved up with daft exhausts and the like.

i imagine quite hard, not the sort of car people cherish so i reckon most will be a bit ropey or modified by now.

Time and ££. I obviously dont mind simple things like wheels etc, but i dont want blanked off EGRs and bodged powerboxes and cherry bombs.

Just a simple std or almost standard Corsa that isnt a heap or rotten Preff for £1550 or less

Probably fairly easy if you keep your eyes out.

I wouldn't even rule out a boy racer one. Not so difficult to put it back to standard. Condition and history isn't even a massive concern because you're equally likely to find one that's been bumped up kerbs and not serviced regardless of who owns it.

Saw that one actually Fazza. I would prefer a red one if i get a choice.

Jim you are right mate, my jeep was a few £ more and i got electric everything leather etc. But im toying with the idea of just running something i can get parts off ebay cheap for and fix myself etc.

You can get an early one for about £2k or anything up to 6k for a very late one. Early facelifts like mine are usually about £3.5-4k.

I've got a 1.6 sport sitting about, hasent got mot or tax but seems solid. Only problem is cracked screen and bumpers a bit tatty and usual rust on boot and bonnet. Cheap easy fix if you want it? T reg.
