When you put a c20xe in a corsa do you need to strenghen the front end or is it ok, just as i have been reading up onit and there is mixed reviews about it cheers.

Ive heard on a sport/Gsi you dont need to but on a base model you do.

Ive had several Xe/Let's fitted without and have been fine(in a gsi)

But mates have had base models tear themselves apart

if you have the shell in bits you may as well do it. Doesnt take long, and is cheap.

Doesnt require it though

I dont see the point at all with an xe, the 'strengthening' rigidity it gives you is no where near worth it for the extra weight it comes with.

Personally i'd only do it if i was aiming for 300+bhp

a few metal plates is hardly going to affect the 0-60 of an XE Corsa
