Anyone had any experience with them? Things to look out for when buying etc? Found what looks to be a pretty mint one for sale for quite cheap which would come into some ultimate plans i have. Cheers peeps .

My Dad's work used to have them as company cars. Apparently they had a lot of electrical faults, but I've no idea if that's true or if it means leccy window and central locking problems or more serious ones. Someone else may be able to expand on this more than me.

Can anyone expand on the 'leccy faults? And any other info? I'm assuming the engine setup is the same as Veccy's etc. obviously apart from being rwd. It'd still be able to be dropped into a corsa right? Nothing majorly different about them. This being the 2.0l 16v ecotech engine.

Yeah, well, the plan would be to buy this one that i've found cheap, and run it around while i havent got a corsa/until i find a mint corsa that i can use for my re-shell and drop the engine from the omega into the new corsa shell, if that makes sense.

If its for a doner engine don't bother.

Get a vectra/astra/calibra/cavalier.

That way you will be able to use more parts like exhaust manifold etc.

Engine is the same as the vectra etc but exhaust manifold, gearbox etc all different.

be easier to buy a cheap vectra or calibra and then you get it all good to go

Just sold my vectra sri(x20xev) fairly nippy for a tank

And it will cost you more to run in the long run if you use it as a daily.
