its a 16v and yes it has got lexus rears - the bumper actually looks better in real life than that pic - i thought it was gasjh when i first saw a pic of it but i rekon its the most mental clio (except them mynheer ones which i really hate) that i have seen, we took him down basildon/southend a few times - i think he comes form quite far a way - something garden city - dunno but hes a good lad and when he has turbo power its all good
as for engines - apparently the 16v's are good - they have about 137bhp standard - the handleing is quality and i think the insurance group is 13 which is good for a car so fast - i am unaware with any major probs with them - some rattely intoerior but thats cause they are french.

cause u can get 300bhp from a r5gtt and its light and bits are cheap - the BB tuning turbo conversion for the standard 16v motor costs like 7 grand and apparently there are 'teething problems' with it.

i can see where you coming from going for he R5 turbo lump, you can get silly brake out of them and they sound mint , but the standard engine is much more reliable and newer and not a bad lump but not the best, would be different with the turbo in there though,
asking for trouble with the R5 though

well they guys doing it have done a load of them and never had any probs - if u dont try and run too much boost they are ok - he's gonna replace any bits that need to be replaced - i mean if r5's are still running today then they can have been that bad when they were new eh?
i think it will be quality

it is a clio and a corsa is a corsa - i think its good to see people trying new things, lets be honest there isnt alot of good styling availabe for a clio of that shape so being different is hard but i think he has deffo done something a bit different here.
