They do look tidy if you're into engine bay dressing. I didn't think the price was too bad personally.

Really fair price, Material, resin etc will come to around £20 for just one of those small heatshileds.

Hello Chaps,
thanks for the positive feedback on these heatshields,
Just to clarify the price, there is next to no real profit on these hence trying to sell a few in one go and making a multiple part mould. The main thing you need to look at is that there is no top coat apart from a 2 pack laquer (done by a proffessional sprayer not myself) and the process is done by infusion with dry fabric as opposed to wet lay. If this was done in wetlay the thickness would be around 1.5 - 2.5mm depending on the technician completing the job.
As this is done by infusion the labour is more intense and more skill is required as well as time, but the end result is a shield that is .7mm thick that weighs next to nothing. May be over the top for this type of product but its more of a demostration of what we are about, 110% effort, best materials and method is applied to all of our products regardless of size and value.
All our work is backed up by photo's as well so customers can see exactly what they are getting for their money, you will struggle to see anyone trying to sell wetlay composites with photo's of the process because it totally defeats the main purpose of the job in the first place.
With more and more involvement with customers suggestions and requirements we are expanding our range of composite products for the vaux community, the next main one is a carbon bonnet which we have been given ready for moulding so this will be on the market real soon.
Many thanks
Raj
