how much would you buy them for to start with guys asking for 50 is this bad, 2 tyres also need replacing.

Depends what they are as well, £50 for a set of BBS LMs which need work isn't bad but £50 for Fox 14s I would probably be less willing to part with.

£50 for tatty wheels, another £30 for the stuff to sort them and they're worth £25 when you're finished

In fact, buy the top ones anyway, cheap and local collection only which means you can pay cash and check they are described when you get there.

They won't fit your car, but you'll be able to practice and they'll earn you enough money so you don't have to buy scratched Foxs.
