Im just trying to add a advert on Pistonheads but i cant seem to find out how to do the free ad's. Im guessing you still can as there are new ones on there from an hour ago.... But im guessing they have hidden it away so that you end up paying!!
Anyone know where it is?

I put up an advertisement yesterday, free 3 pictures and listing. Shouldn't be a prob unless you're not logged in.

I dont really understand the issue, but im good friends with the guy who manages the classifieds on pistonheads, and hes sitting about 3 metres away from me. So let me know if there is a problem with the actual site and I can sort it out.

There seems to be a large volume of people who can't post free ads, seems a post a week

Free ads are only available for members who signed up before July 2008, could that be it?

Double check. Changing your details won't make a difference.

Have you tried posting a premium advert already? If its free for you it should let you do it without having go through a pay screen.

Doesnt sound like a scam at all. Sounds like they are a business and may start charging for their service. It's still going to be 50% cheaper than Autotrader and get more people who are genuinely interested. It may also stop dreamers putting their 106 gti's and Clio182s on £4k over value in the hope someone takes them up on it.

but where's the notice stating they are changing the service?
just like when my bank changes something on my bank account, i always get notification of them doing so.
could at least make people aware rather than doing it on the sly.

You aren't subscribed to a service with them though?
