We went Tenerife last year and loved it, but booked a lads holiday to gran Canaria this year ( not my idea)

A few lads I know went last month, seemed to enjoy it and are going again in August.
As usual with holidays they are what you make of them, I went on a lads holiday to Fuengirola, I didn't book it and it certainly wouldn't be my first choice but it was still a great hol because of the people I was with.

The Yumbo centre is a "gay centre" has a lot of pubs and nice restaurants though. Lots of families go there and watch the drag acts etc, however down the back there is ropey night clubs full of poofs!
Thats only one part though and its actually quite a trek from the irish centre and all the main pubs in the middle.
If you like steak go to El Goucho, amazing!

I went last year with the missus (after going to Tenerife the year before, funnily enough). Where are you staying (assume playa del ingles)?
I preferred Tenerife slightly but I imagine del ingles would be ok if there were loads of you. The place that's full of homo's is called the Yumbo centre I think, I didn't really notice any others in the places I went . The places close by to/or inside the Kasbah centre are ok, you'll probably love Linekars bar, it's full of slutty hoebags, there's a club below which looked similar. There's also a 'Pacha' and 'China Whites' (  ) plus various other bars around the same area. We went out every night, and were a bit bored by the end (but as I say that was probably more to do with the fact it was just the 2 of us).
The water park is really btw, it cost us about 20E from Del Ingles in a taxi and it was about 25E to get in iirc. Couple of pics for good measure:

I liked the hotel I stayed at, but couldn't go out anywhere because it was disgusting.
Nearly as horrible as Malia in Crete..... holiday from hell.

Did you stay in Las Americas?
We stayed in Costa Adeje to avoid the main crowd.
Its close enough for a cheap taxi if you want to hit the clubs, or you can stay in Costa Adeje and have a good laugh.
I almost punched one of the PR guys for being a dick, told him we wanted food, he then spouts about just listening for 2 mins. Spouts loads of shit about a club, swearing at us and everything, his club is best etc etc soo many free drinks etc etc. after ten mins told him we was off for food and he said why didnt you fucking tell me instead of letting me waste my fucking time.

yeah, we stayed at Playas de Las Americas, probably why we didn't enjoy it.

Yee, we avoided staying there as we heard it was just full of drunk brits.
we liked where we stayed as you had the choice, go to Las Americas and get rendered, or stay in our area and just have a nice night, no sick everywhere and not too noisy.
How many 'free shots' did you get? Best are in Linekars, I'll get the pics of us.
