Hi. I've got astra estate 2001 1.7 dti n it's over heated has pipe has come of rad. I could not pull over any where so driving slowly found place to stop but car cut out. Still won't start now makes turning over noise n that's it That was 7:40 this morning I've had it towed home guna connect pipe top up water n see if it will start. Just wondering if it is in safe mode how long does it last. Or is my engine Fu@ked

Probably would've been wise to stop the car once you saw it was overheating tbh.

happened to me on the m4 i just turned the engine off and coasted it to the services when i got to slow id flick the engine on then off.
if its turning over shouldnt be to bad

The lights stay on the dash. Aswell. Gona put it on computer now see if owt turns up
