INSURANCE.

Who does mirrored NCB? Are these multi car things worth it?

Both cars combined will do no more than 10k a year.

Whats the deal? Is it just expensive, or are there ways around it.

May only be for 6months.

Ideas?

I have normal insurance for my normal car, and have limited milage on my track car.

Still works out less than £800 a year.

i use admiral multicar, i did quite a bit of shopping around and "phone haggling" and they mirrored my NCB.

i paid about £800 for both cars fully comp, think i asked for 12,000miles on both

we have 2 'moderns', if you can call them modern, 1996 rover 214 and a 1995 fiat cinquecento and the are on a multi car policy with churchill and they're £500 for the pair fully comp unlimited mileage.

and we have 2 classics, 1949 Alvis and 1977 simca on a multicar classics policy and they're £300 both fully comp but both limited to 6000 miles per year.

yes thats right, we have four cars!

Admiral multi is the best way to get the bonus mirrored. It's not as cheap as it should be though, probably only £100 py for me over both cars as opposed to having two separate policies.

Worth doing but it doesn't represent the reduced risk that I only ever drive one.

I have a 05 Accord and a CTR.

It was cheaper for me to insure both cars with brentacre and they mirror the no claims

multicar policies were 300 a year more roughly!

Some of the specialist firms will mirror no claims, I know Brentacre and Sky do.
