What's the best and easiest engine to use when converting from 1.2 16v?
I was thinking a 1.4 16v or 1.6 16v
Would also be my first engine conversion.

Why bother fitting a 1.4 or 1.6 when you can buy a Sport ready done, with cheaper insurance?

He may of built his shell exactly how he wants it, or has a nice clean shell, why get rid and do all the work again when he can spend a weekend putting a new engine in

It's not that hard to find a decent Sport, swapping over body mods are easier than a engine. Also don't forget the engine loom is all based in the engine bay on a 1.2 16v.

Not over here it isnt most are raked out heaps. I mainly would be doing it for cheaper insurance not declaring the conversion.
Yes my shell is very clean 59000 minimal rust to.
Is there any plug and play conversions for the 1.21 16v? What exactly have you to do with the loom take out the dash and clocks?
