are all corsa sport .16's supposed to have abs? i was told they are yet mine hasnt... its an r reg. it has no fuse for it but has a bulb in teh dash for the abs light. also the 'eps' power steering indicator that is supposed to light for a few seconds along with the airbag light etc when u turn the key dosent light tho bulb is fine... does everyone else with power steering have this light?

all corsa sports after R-Reg i think came with abs fitted as standard for the 1.6 models, think it was an option for the 1.4 models, although i think they also had it fitted.
Was an optional extra on the SRi's, and the same with power steering, all corsa sports were power assisted, sri's were not.

so i take it mine is hydraulic power steering and not electronic and thats why the eps indicator does not light? but if that were the case why would it have the light at all bulb or no bulb?

are all corsa's not EPS if assisted at all?
if it doesnt light up, your right it may be hydraulic, or the bulb has gone...lol

Wrong, my Sport 1.6 is T reg and was told when i bought it from vauxhall that it had ABS, then later found out it was optional extra and its not fitted to my car after locking the wheels and nearly smashing my car to bits.

nah it didnt have a bulb in it but i put one in and tried it anyway and still no joy..

power steerring was optional on both sris and sports upto 97 not standard
