My mate wants me to fit a 2l into his corsa for him, but i dont no how much to say for fiting it any ideas? Its basically a straight swap he has everything to fit it, cheers.

charge as much as you want or as much as he wants to pay?.
how capable are you of doing it?
if you are not completely sure on what youre doing then you cant really charge much.

That's how I tend to work. Usually have a laugh playing with the cars. Then he gets the beers in at the end

Wish my mates were like that, I got charged 30rips for movin my mid engnd corsa frm unit to home and taking otha corsa at hme back to unit...total of 3mile....and that was mates rates! Sum mates I charge + some I dont and thats only down to whetha they charge wen I need something doing

i allways do my mates car for free and they help me out aswell like i sprayed my mates alloys he is going to tint my windows job done lol

yes exactly, ^ me and my best mate would do it if we were confident enough, we probably wouldnt be able to get it running again, so my mate who i know threw buying car parts and works for himself is doing it for a reasonable price tbh, spose he gotta make a livin at the end of the day same as anyone else,
