Hi,
Does anybody know of anywhere that can program an ECU?
I have been told because my ECU starts with the number 167 that if i replace it then it will need reprogramming to the car.

Cheers

My problem is the car starts sumtimes but after about 2 min will cut out and not restart for a while. I recently reground the valves as the car was havin a lot of lack of power then the car ran fine for a wekk then just cutout. Seems to be lack of fuel getting to the engine so checked fuel pump seems ok checked relays ok now at loose end and getting very annoyed due to not been able to use the car. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Car cut out again after running for nearly 3 weeks no probs, so looks like a trip to the main dealer see if they can find the fault will keep you informed incase of any similar problems.
Thanks for all your replys

i had that problem with mine pegasus. i thought it was the fuel pump but it turned out to be the idle control valve and the air flow meter that was causing the problem. had um replaced and runing fine again. costly though!!

the cars booked in to the main dealer for another diagnostic see what they come up with.
How much was it for the idle control valve and air flow meter?

Cheers
