Just had the van washed by some folk the came here on the bottom of trains.

Doing thier business as usual, untill he got out a scouring sponge and proceeded to remove something off my bonnet with the rough side!

WTF!

He was sharply told what for! I know it's only a van, but in thier right mind would think a scouring pad is a good thing to clean a car with!

I used a broom, contract cleaning stuff, rain water and a puddle with stones and shit in it to clean my old work van once.

Scratched it fuck; but it did sparkle a bit.

My experience has always been good. Biggest problem I had was talking to the guy and he didn't talk back because his English was limited to the list of prices and directions around the premises.

Same here. Nice little place behind a BP garage in Harrogate, all the Polish take car doing it, comes out looking good for £7! Apart from when they removed my rear badge without telling me

I'd rather pay less and get a great job, as has been my experience.

Pay more and get wet yourself? if you're happy with that.
