I need to replace the front discs and pads on my Corsa and already have some discs that I bought a while ago, but I need to get some pads in. I can get ones the same brand as the discs off Euro Car Parts for £25 a pair but I thought that if I can get some better ones for a similar price then I may as well do that.
I've heard good things about Mintex on here and I think 1144 is the one people normally go for, but I think I remember something about there being a less dusty one?
There MAY be some light track use later in the year also which is why I thought uprated pads might be worth looking into.
Anyway, any recommendations would be superb

Normal GM ones will be fine/decent quality if all you do is potter about doing normal day to day driving.
You can get them mega cheap if you have trade club too.
I always used m1144's, really dusty and the abuse they got only lasted 5k as they are quite soft and are a fast road occasional track use pad.
Mintex do do a normal pad, but as said; if you do normal driving there is no point in buying a performance, generally due to their low cold temp biting, dusting and wear rate.

go for ds2500 if you can afford them, lot quieter when cold and produce less dust than the mintex.

i just got budget mintex pads and discs off ebay and there spot on, i got gsi callipers on though, dunno if there's a difference to the standard 1.6 sport callipers like

TBH, in MOST CASES a disc is a disc. I've got some EBC pads on the Mazda which takes a bit of a beating on the road and I'm happy with them.

Iv got brembo pads and disks on my corsa  £23 i think they dont give a lot of brake dust so win with my pro race 1.2's

I have Mintex discs and pads all round on the Pug. Wasn't any more expensive than getting the standard parts. If uprated parts are barely any more monies, I say go for them.
EDIT : I do agree with the comments on how much dust it chucks, defo more noticable than the standard pads I had on before.

They're the same but that's irrelevant anyway as I have a Corsa C (see avatar and "Drives:")

However neither of them are 1144 or DS2500 so I don't know where in the range they are.

How do DS2000 differ from DS2500?
Looking on Euro Performance and they don't make DS2000 for my car, it seems  They do make DS2500, however. They're £118 per set though

Hardly any difference in my honest opinion, imho.
The main difference is DS2500 shed more dust and ruin your wheels.
I'm sticking with DS2000 from now on.
