Good choice of engine in a very good car!

I built a Civic Turbo for mate a few years ago, made a shade under 400 horses, really quick car!

If any ones bored, youtube search for "Team Rice", nothing but Turbo Jap goodness! And Brendons 600hp Civic lol

Bazzaa I think all the main thing was getting the right map on the ecu. Few exhaust mods, engine mounts, linkage. Same sort of thing for say a c20xe conversion really. But his uber cool wire tuck was a bit hard lol

should hopefully make that power, my standard b18c6 was meant to be 187bhp but made 195bhp on the rolling road (taken with a pinch of salt of course) thats with the 2.25" exhaust too, putting a larger bore on like you have here will unleash the extra ponies anyway!

cleaned up nicely too

Same as my old EG! Milano red! Was this a LSi (d15 engine) before the conversion? If so the same as mine!

I ended up with a H22A2 out of a Prelude VTi in mine but the B18 is probably more fun.

He needs a JDM Tailgate though and then it will look even sweeter!

Also this engine bay is super super fresh!

I love it, although this thread is making me really miss mine

Those were old photos. He has that JDM boot now looks really good. Engine bay is what I wanna do but with all the holes filled

Gonna have to get his wiring skills out to help me, me thinks lol

I'm sure his was a Lsi yea. 1.5 vtec

These old civics with the B and K series conversions or should i say swaps? are taking over the corsa and xe engine scene. More interesting as well.

I would say they are a lot more intersting, but they are also a lot more exspensive.

My H Series conversion cost me nearly £1200, a K20 will cost near £2000. Ive never done a XE swap but i would have thought it was a fair bit less than that?

All the same great fun though

His engine alone was £1850 lol.

Then all the other shizzle he did. Mani was £450 so must be in the region of 3k
