One for the Groveses: When your teen was being all "my life's so hard", "you're always against me" etc, how did you deal with it? One of my cousins is being the same and because his mum wants rent, "all she wants is my money" - despite the fact she's a single parent with 5 kids and he works full time.

My teen wouldn't dare!!
She's been taught values, respect and earning things.
The only problem we have is attitude but that's just in general not saying things like that!! And to be fair she has probably picked half of it up from me I.e she doesn't take any crap

depends what your spending I guess...
latest one i got was a 52 plate laguna grade D, got it for 450 inc fees but was a fucking dog. dents all down one side, drivers window didnt work, both cv joints clicked to fuck, lights on dash had been covered with tape
whereas ive picked up several grade d's before and been in decent nick.
Maybe my fault for looking at cars less than 1k
