been away for a few days riding in Wales, on the way there and back i called into Lee Quarry

I've been the once back in 2009 when they were still building it. It was good back then. My mate has been not so long a go and he said it's much better now.

Cant understand why you ride with no gloves most of the time Gonna end up skinning your hands if you have a big off

Looks good. Right near Gisburn too I understand?

I did the Forest of Dean uplift on Sunday. Was immense. We've made Gisburn & Lee Quarry our next road trip.

Never have worn gloves when xc/trail riding, only wear them when I'm on my downhill bike.

I've been too gisburn, it has some good sections hilly gully is one I think. But for the time and distance from mine I'd rather go to Glentress.

You're lucky. For anywhere decent for us it's a 3 hour trip at least. Glentree about 9 hours

Gisburn was crap when I went apart from hully gully. Not worth the trip and its only about 45 mins from me so certainly not worth trekking up from Bedfordshire for

Hully gully was the only bit I can remember tbh.

But I can deffo recommend Lee Quarry!
