Ive been looking at these for a while now for my corsa b 1.4 obviously the genuine mantzel is going to be the best as it cost 3 times as much , is a vx one going to make any noticeable difference ? and does the car need remaping to get the most out of one ? , and last of all how hard are they to fit ?

tbh i cant see there being much of a difference between the the manztel and vx manifolds in terms of performance tbh. they are both just empty aluminium boxes at the end of the day.

the manztel would have been worked better for air flow to chambers,

not sure how much difference there will be, but at the end of the day its not a race car anyway

Only real difference imo is that the mantzels look nicer in the bay. The VX ones look a bit pikeyish/homemade imo.

There not hard to fit, sure there is a guide on here somewhere

They still look pikey'ish compared to a real mantzel. But they do the same job for less ££. Although i have seen a few on here recently for approx £200. Id rather pay that for a mantzel than £130ish for a VX one.

iv got an alluminium power box inlet on my corsa 1.4 16v aswell as pipercross cone filter and standard manifold decat stainless enlarged centre and back box, and when i was at pvs i put it on the rollers and it produced 106.2 hp where as standard its 88, so yes they do make a vast improvement.

What are you on about? Quite clearly Fazza doesn't think they look pretty, and he's right. The Lexmaul or Mantzel look far better. That's not to say they are worth the extra, they just look better.

well them and the dbilas look cast, never seen one in life but insides will be alot more beneficial to the air flow and and empty welded up box,

laminar flow> turbulent flow
