Why would you want a show cage? they are cheesy and look shit, and would probably do a lot of damage should you be in a crash.

agreed, buy a proper cage.. cant seem to find a half cage anywhere though can only find full cages or these shitty things...

A full, bolt in or welded cage. Alot more money and work but if you want a cage, or think you need a cage then get a proper one. eBay, demontweeks , straight from the manufacturer etc etc

tried all of those, cant seem to find a half cage anywhere going to ring a few companys when i set about buying one thats probably your best bet mate.

You could get a rear cage custom made, think they are quite rare to find for a Corsa, may be wrong though.

I've seen a few at shows etc, tbh I'd put up with a show cage even though its like having a paper bag as a helmet

You can't make a cage! You can buy the preformed hoop and front sections and make the rest from CDS!

I'm just picturing you welding up scaffold poles in a 27 point cage in a corsa

A proper bolt or weld in cage is completely different to a show cage, you can't even compare the 2. A proper cage is fully strengthened, bolted to welded plates on the car and will make the car a lot more rigid far more safer if you're in an accident. There's a minimum of 30 bolts bolted to the car, that's how many mine had.
