Hi Corsasport

What i need is a product like a degreaser for cleaning up engine bay and wheel arches. Have been using the end of some chemical guys citrus degreaser and that tardis stuff. But using too much tardis on stuff that shouldn't need it.

what is meg's apc like? am trying to clean old oily grime mainly

try traffic film remover. shifts near enough everything with a bit of agitation

The Meg's APC seems to be well recommended among the pro guys.

i used gunk in my engine bay and it worked a treat, comes in paintable form or spray

i need something quite watery as can't use the hose in garage to wash stuff off, i just clean a little bit at a time and use the spray bottle to rinse into my old hamsters tray

Maybe try Autosmart G101, you can get it on Polishedbliss and they do free delivery on everything.
I think its around £20 for 5L and you can dilute it for whatever you want.

It's quite strong

G101 will be a lot better for price considering you can dilute it really good degreaser!

Ending up getting Meg super degreaser, that other stuff sounds pretty strong and can't guarantee I will be able to rinse it off properly

G101 won't be man enough on hardcore grease. Gunk is stronger.

Failing that, Autosmart make a product called Plus10 (I think) which is like G101 on steroids

G101 is superb for the money.

I dillute it 5:1 and it still works well.
