Is it ok to jetwash a gearbox when its out of a car?
i.e not attatched to the engine, no shafts in etc?
is there anywhere i should avoid blasting water?
like inside where the shafts sit? inside the bell housing (is it called that) where the clutch etc is?

ive done it a few times, make sure the the holes where the shafts sit are fully sealed, i.e rags or summert, and make sure no water can get into the innerds of the gearbox. Be carefull tho as when u do the bell housing it blasts back at u and u get coverd in black sooty water lol.
