c20xe engine originally came from my 1992 cav gsi. I rebuilt this engine 4 years ago and fitted it to my corsa b and have covered approx 4000miles in this time.

Spec when built was,

Head;
GM head with pourus mod done
kent ast1612 camshafts
kent hydraulic lifters
Kent double valve springs
+1mm oversized valves

Block;
block bored out to 86.5 mm
+ 0.5mm oversized standard pistons
all new pistons rings
+0.5mm glyco bearings used throughout
reground crank
arp rod bolts
new GM oil pump
8v sumpgasket
alloy underdrive alternator, power steering pulley.

(hardly any oil leaks at all on this engine, you can see how clean the silver block still is 4 years after being fitted! rare for a redtop lol)

All built up using GM gaskets and sealants.


The f20 box does have a slight whine to it but it does also have a 4k old LUK clutch kit fitted to it. All gear selected fine so I was just waiting for it to die completely before removing it(just being honest)


I intended to keep this engine and put a set of carbs/throttle bodies on it as It's screaming out for it in my opinion, because of this I'd sold the loom and other various parts already but now I've blew the f28 up in my corsa let so this has got to go to help raise funds for that


What you get is, head,block,box,inlet manifold, throttle body, lightweight underdrive pulley(for pas), brand spanking new alternator. and whateva spares ive got knocking about like afm, dizzy cap etc.

I do have a full exhaust system for a corsa b for sale which could be sold with the engine for cheap if needed.

Is there an optional conversion kit that could be sold along with this? shafts spacers engine mounts ect?, and what else would it need to run?

needs an an ecu and loom and a few other parts, pipes etc but ive sold most of the other bits seperate because i'd planned to just stick carbs on this engine.

exhaust system sold last night. mounts stil available.

engine ran fine last time it was running, only issue was the gearbox whine last time it ran was in may/june.

Yes id be willing to put this on a pallet if you arrange your own courior can sort that no problem mate.
