Download the star walk app! Just been trying it out on the few stars I can see and it's spot on. You can search for planets, stars, satellites etc and it uses your gps and giroscope to point you in the right direction. You can also overlay your camera image onto the image then click on the stars you can see and it tells you loads of info. It's pretty shit round here for light pollution but will be useful on clear nights.

does it have those stars that are like the sun but a million times bigger?
whats that other wierd thing called thats blue and has lots of gravities, pulsar or something? remember watching it on tv not that long ago.
