I had a black and white 12" hand me down TV that I used to sit on a chair in my bedroom when I was about 5, I could even get all 4 channels on its little round coathanger style aerial.
This was about 1985, it actually lost its picture when I was watching it and started smoking and that was the end of it, didnt have a tv for about 7 years after that!

Had a 15" portable TV when i was around 8, in 1998/1999. Then i got a 32" LCD TV when i was around 16-17 and still have that one now. I might of have another 15" portable TV inbetween those 2 but im not 100% sure.

Some black and white 1970s box at my dads around 1995, then my mum got me a 14" Bush with built in video player when we downsized houses (keep me from complaining about a smaller room if I remember right)

My first one was a bright red bush 14" tv, round ariel on the top and the front panel pushed out to become the remote
then got a black 14" bush tv for my 15th birthday, never really watched it but 3 years ago I bought a 32" flat screen with built in digital and had it on my wall.

My first TV was probably 20yrs ago now It was black & white and to change the channel you have to twist the tuner dial.
Something along the lines of this..
I remember when my mum and dad bought a top of the range VHS player which was amazing because it had a wired remote control

Phillips Your TV2 - Looked like an open book from the side
http://www.zonebattler.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/2009-02-15_your-tv-2-1.jpg
Then a JVC 21", then went back to a 14" Sony as the 21" was taking up too much space!

Hand me down 14 inch Toshiba.
The flap at the front had snapped off and the back of the remote was lost so it was held on with selotape.
Used to get my wee brother to stand and hold the aerial to his head whenever Match of The Day was on

My first TV was a 32" Samsung widescreen 100hz CRT.
Cost me about £400 at the time, fuck knows how I managed to drag that TV upstairs to my room without killing myself or breaking my back in the process, it weighed a tonne!
These days you can get a 32" LCD/LED TV and carry it with one arm lol
