The soldiers standing half hidden behind the buildings do so because it's less of a target for the 'enemy' should a fight break out. Lots of strange little things like that. Interesting if you like this sort of stuff.

The 2 guards in that hut? so they're ready for a fight or to protect themselves from an attack

Did you see the guards on the south looking through binoculars at the north, constantly! all day long just watching them just incase they start anything

Not watched video but seen about it before. Theres an officer constantly watching the other two guards for the north to stop them running over to the south there's a room with a door thats on the border. If the south have a message they'll knock the door. But most the time they don't get an answer so just use a megaphone

Also. North Korea have constructed "perfect" towns in no mans land in a hope to tempt South Koreans to swap sides

I went last yr, amazing place, really weird and fascinating all in one...

At the 'visitors centre' inside the DMZ they have 3/4 soldiers who are there to inspect your cameras to see what you're taking pictures of if your camera's pointing North!
