I'm going to buy a strutbrace for my car (V 1.2 Sxi) at the end of this month.
Which one do you guys recommend. I was considering Sparco or OMP cos they're well known. Whats the differance between the steel and Alu braces, apart from the weight and price.

you will be limited in selection because not to many companies make em for the 1.2 16v, mostly 1.4 and 1.6!! so make sure it is the correct one for your car!!
there isnt any difference between the steel and alu except weight!!!

On me 98 1.6 sport omp and sparco were either discontinued or lhd only!
Had to get a momo one! Lexmaull are the only other people i know of that do them for rhd corsas. Have seen another make one on a pic of a corsa though.

I've got an OMP one.Cost £45,its adjustable slightly and well made.It will fit a Tigra aswell.

I think I'll go with Sparco for know, if I have trouble getting one I will buy OMP instead. Thanks for the advice.
