As title says what wud u have have and why I've had a gsi a while back and was nice quick at at 310bhp now I've found myself loving both of these cars but dnt know wat to go for I've heard dc5s u need to spend alot of money for very Lil bhp

dc5 just because i like them more than astras although would need more power so would have to go fi with it which will be costly.

DC5.
You need to spend alot of money on a Gsi to make it the car it should have been.The DC5 does everything out the box.
1 is a £3k car, the other is a £6k car.Price difference speaks for itself and if you could afford the DC5, it would be daft to go for a Gsi.

DC5 for 6k?
Unless its a cat c/d or has moon miles then maybe 8-10k for a decent one.

It was a write off that i seen for £6k, i didn't think that straight cars were much more.

You buy a written off car and somebody drives into it, insurers will pay out less, which is 'one' of the reasons why cat c/d cars are cheaper to buy.

You could say that if we were comparing 2 brand new cars that had a price difference of around £5k.
And not two 2nd hand cars that are about 8 years old.

i'd go for a DC5 too, no question. i had a dc2 and loved it, i prefer the pre-facelift dc5 model myself

Currently own a modified DC5. Owned a heavily modded GSI.
DC5 wins hands down in every single aspect possible to man.

DC5 every time unless you want something like more creature comforts like cruise control etc etc
But then you shouldnt be buying a car like this anyway if thats the case 
Drive one and you will see what the fuss is about 
Check insurance though as they come up pricey
for me uk CTR is £550 DC5 is £1000 due to import etc etc
