after looking at a few Mini cooper s's i decided i couldn't handle such a small boot, and fun as they are they lacked a bit performance wise for me, so after a quick check of piston heads i went to look at a mazda 3 MPS with the aerosport kit, absolutely mint car as the right money so took it away! great performance, and practical!
not took any of my own pictures yet.
very impressed, can't believe they aren't that popular, especially for the money!
whiteline bits have been ordered along with a new air filter setup, then its time to have a map, exhaust and intercooler.....

You need to do proper back to back testing on the filter setup.

Like these. My mate used to have a 6 mps but traded it in for an m5. The 6 was awesome though.

Didn't realise these were so cheap.
There 2007 ones with like 20,000 miles going for around £8,000.

His 6 was a bit of a nightmare. Spent more time in the garage than on the road. Cost him a fortune I think. Had so many new parts thrown at it. When it did work though it was brilliant.

I'm sure they're great cars but can't get my head around the looks, look like a window locker bus to me.

Great cars for the money and I love the looks.
Only thing that put me off was the tax so I bought the golf that worked out well eh.

New ones have the same engines and still make 256bhp.
Saying about air filters making claimed figures, my Cobb SRi claims 10bhp, and it made 266bhp on the rollers with just that air filter, so was bang on!
Good choice in colour with a few choice mods the car is so much fun

K&N quote 25.68bhp peak gain on their Typhoon kit. It won't make that as a headline gain though, that I'm sure of. It'll be somewhere in the mid range no doubt, which is a bit cheeky.
