hi guys just wondering what is the biggest brakes i can fit under cesaro`s ? and what car can i get them off .. its to fit on my 1.6 tigra

no you can fit 308s if there are no wheel weights iirc but its mega close

308mm will never fit behind a 15" alloy, 288mm are the max then you have to go to 16" for 308mm brakes

even 288mm is mega close! i had to use 2.5gram weights when balancing my wheels so they would fit between the caliper and the wheel

going by Phillips_91's pic you can.. they do look closer to the wheel than the ones on the blue corsa

what would you guys suggest ? both look good .. im kind of swaying for the 288`s but how much better are the 308`s ? also where can i put weights if i have 308`s ?

my wheel weights are on the inside of the rim, there slimline weights, close but they dont touch

very little difference between 288's and 308's id imagine.. think you'd have to set the machine to just balance the outside of the wheel for 308's

well they are not 308mm they are 288mm v6 brakes same as mine, 308mm brakes fit behind 16" alloys and upwards and i wouldnt buy v6 288mm brakes there crap and spongy with loads of pedal travel

i don't know what 288's are like but the 308's are brilliant, can just keep battering and battering them and they just keep stopping, feels like there trying to rip your teeth out of your face when you brake hard

what cars do the 288`s and 308`s come on that i can just take eveything from ? also how much were you looking for for yours phillip ?

i got mine from LMF all new, so not sure what car they come off, were just advertised as vauxhall v6 308mm kit
i'll take £175 posted mate or £160 collected from FY3

my 288's were like that too, thought it was trapped air at first but even after bleeding them it was never any better and they were brand new
