mk5 offset seems to range between et35 - 45

mk6 has a pcd of 5x120 does it not?

quick google brings this up for the mk6 wheels, dunno if its right or not though

"Be aware, that whilst the 17/18/19" wheel options look the same across all models, the wheels fitted to 1.4/1.6 models are totally different to those on the 1.6T/1.7D/2.0D models and are not interchangable.

18" example

1.4/1.4T/1.6
5 x 105 bolt fitting and 42 offset and 7.5jx18

1.6T/1.7D/2.0D
5 x 115 bolt fitting, 46 offset and 8jx18"
