Sold my VXR to buy something cheaper to free up some cash so i can put a deposit down on a house.
Anyways went to view this yesterday and ended up buying it.
Info:
1999 E36 328i Sport in Avus Blue
96k
FSH
Full MOT
No Tax
In what i would call fantastic condition, only 2 stone chips on the bonnet. No rust what so ever.
Spec:
Wei-tec Coilovers
Fully polybushed
Full scorpion Exhaust (Will be removed for standard although it does sound immense)
Genuine Staggered Sunflower alloys with brand new tyres in mint condition.
Very chuffed with my find as these are becoming hard to find in this condition.

I will be trying my hardest not to drive it on salty winter roads tbh.
Plans are to put the front up a little, just bought a HID kit, genuine evo splitter as its missing, and white number plate bulbs.

Love that.Avus E36's are the dogs.
That 1st pic though, something not quite right looking.Possibly the height (although E36 coupes suit being that wee bit higher at the rear) or are the front tyres bigger profile than the rear.

Any plans for it??
M50 inlet, bbtb, filter and a remap will see it pushing about 230+bhp.

yeah that would nice, yeah i prefer the front lower than the rear but its just a little too low, i noticed the tire profile but they're the correct size for the wheels. maybe a smaller profile would suit it better.
Plans are just as mentioned so far, perhaps some vaders if i can find some in good condition and an illuminated M3 gear knob

I am half tempted to move to one of these. What's the MPG like?

In my old one i used to get about 29-32 avg on a long journey drove sensibly they can achieve a good 40mpg but town driving is a killer, 20-23mpg. I dont do many miles now though so mpg doesnt bother me too much.

Looks so clean. Sort of a shame its not an evo as that would be the dogs but I could settle for a 328

Went to look at an M3 before i chose this, it had been to the moon and back and gathered up 12 owners was a shed tbh, for my budget i could get a lovely 328 or a shocking m3. hence i chose the latter.

Looks really nice and clean!
I've just bought a 323 Coupe. Really nice car for very little money. Pretty good on juice too - about the same as the mk3 Golf GTI i had but a much better car overall. I just need an LSD diff for a bit of round-a-bout drifting!

A lot of the 328i and 325i LSD's are fucked these days but still do a good job of being a diff, so make sure it works properly before you buy one.

Yeah they might be, could have been an optional extra. My ones on said car above were electric so shouldnt be a problem swapping them over
