so was on the private racetrack last night which looks like a motorway and i had one come next to me and give it all the usual revving and that crap, so we set off and fuck knows what he had to the integra but it was ridiculous quick, kept up with me all the way to around 140 odd, was very impressed.

i presume they are not massively quick standard? when it was accelerating the nose of it was lifting somewhat , how easily are they turbo'd as it looked like it was dumping a bit of fuel out the back on high revs and banging.

cool story bro's welcome.

not all that standard. But immense handling. Can be turbo'd are charged quite easy and get some big power from them. Could even be a later engine from a ctr

was it an old shape dc2 (morette front end) or a new shape dc5 ? , the new shape are 187bhp or there around that , can be supercharged like jamie said or turbo'd quite easily. Could have a k-pro ecu which has preloaded maps on for mods e.g. cat back and induction mapped though they are quite quick i have a friend with a ep3 civic with mapped kpro ecu manifold decat system back and an itg filter makes 244 bhp and has done 110k

dc5 has 217 bhp not 187 bhp, I think you're thinking of the old one.

To be honest, it just sounds like you were granny shifting not double clutching Mike.

Sounds like it was Dominic Toretto driving - you're lucky he wasn't towing a bank vault to be fair.

Yep, raced them in my old banger and not much in it when moving, people think their car is fast because they can feel turbo boost, smooth power is deceptive
