Early cars suffer from terrible engine issues

Also facelift has just come out with improved interior etc

I have a new c220 cdi sport auto at the minute. Good car and more exclusive than a 3 series msport, but I prefer the BMW. What's the mileage on the merc and the model details? They depreciate badly for some reason?
