any ideas?

refited them seemed to be ok till i put the atrut brace on

verything is tight, the top bolts for the struts arnt massivly tight due to the shock spinning but seems solid

Hold the top of the shock? You will probs find with the weight of the car its bouncing up a little and causing a knock if its loose.
