Thinking of buying one, its not been used this summer so is in need of a good service. Wondering what sort of prices you would be paying for one and how good are they?

Would only be getting used off road around the farm. Its a 2006 I think, going by pics on google and looking for £1000. I was think nearer £7/800 maybe? Seeing as its Going to need a battery and good service

2.5k

But you will never have as much fun in your life!

Honestly, buy a cheap chinese one and you will regret it. For going off road, a Raptor 350 will do, can get em for 1k and they are good fast quads.

PMSL shows how much people know about quads
Bombardier is one of the most best quad makers there is. These use the DS650 in the Dakar rally, haw many raptors you see doing the Dakar?
They are not cheap made quads, read up rather then talking to people who know nothing. Its all they use in the USA.
I do alot of work on quads in my garage so i have rode them all. and the DS650 is the most solid well built quad i have rode. i have at the moment in my garage both customer and friends -
1 x Raptor 660
2 x Raptor 700
1 x Bombardier DS650
1 x My Own Gas Gas Wild HP with R6 engine

last comment, if anyone who says Raptors are best do not know what they are taking about, they are over priced and under spec'ed.

I was thinking similar. My brother has 2 Bombardier (Can-Am) outlanders, think they have an 800 Rotax engine, certainly not anything Chinese.

We used them for messing about in the snow for the last few years, possibly the most fun I've had on 4 wheels.

People think Raptor 660's and such are the best because they have bigger engines, I know for a fact a Yfz 450 will out do one!
