Long story short my wife changed all our direct debit dates for this month...

She shouted through to me last Wednesday 'All the direct debits have come out and we still have £950!' we had lots coming in and going out this month which was unusual so thought result!..spent a load this weekend already eating out and shoping etc.

Just looked online and we have £110 in the account plus we still have more to come out

NONE and i repeat NONE of the direct debits had come out

They live on a different fucking planet don't they????

I know I should have checked! I usually do I trust my wife though FFS she actually said they had all come out! She was looking at last months statement she now tells me.

I've got so much going on at the moment I just didn't check on the laptop just on my phone app.

Only I have access to the joint account online ting. She always asks me before spending anything from the joint account. They can't be trusted. Shoes and handbags are too tempting.

Alarm bells should of been ringing when you had alot more than usual but you hadn't changed the amount you put in.
