Do i fit a dbilas turbo kit to my xe1 corsa b or xe it? Can get hold of a full xe conversion (mounts, shafts ect) for £500 and can turbo my xe1 for £1000. Discuss...

Tbh im swaying toward the Dbilias conversion purely because of the power gains (i've seen 230+ on standard z18xe's) and i cant see an xe getting near that sort of figure without spending more than £500. I have thought about a c20let but i cant justify spending £1000+ on an engine that could be shagged + rebuild, mounts, shafts ect when i already have a strong engine with decent potential...

yeah thats what am going for but homebrewing it.seems to be just the same-ish power as a let once turbo,but newer and less hassle to conver.have a chat on the corsa c forum mate there is a few guys on there doing them.

What sort of home brew are you going for? Im guessin vxr manifold and turbo?

thought they was fetching more than £500 even 2nd hand but will still be cheaper than a c20let by the time you have brought and rebuilt the let.warren g would be the man to ask really on turbo'd 18xe1/z18
