There's a dick called Lewis who drives a black elise and frequents Seloc. He's put me off them for life by the way he drives and the state his car is in.

Why would a laggy turbo set up be better than a supercharger set up on a car that's built for handling? I'd take the progressive instant response to sacrifice a few bhp any day.

Agreed. It's the same story in the KTM X-Bow, the engine has plenty of power etc but the lazy, linear delivery and muted engine note just doesn't excite which, in cars like these, is a crucial factor!

Ariel chose a Honda engine over an Audi one for a reason Big figures isn't one of them.

Such a nice car, he didnt build the engine it was sent some were from memory,
and it ran 2 seasons with out being rebuilt

they were going to start fresh for time attack this year with a 2.0

But they were building two for brit car 24 hour last time i went to see them,

lotus is a fuck site lighter than an audi they pick up great,
plenty of people doing it,
remember the first ones came with rover k series, audi conversion is pretty much double the power and more reliable

As I said above, it's not all about power. You don't want to be mid corner and get a big slab of boost in something that light. The first ones came with a K series, then the second ones with a Toyota VVTi for a reason.
