How much does it cost 2 hav work doe 2 ur arches and wot exactly do they do 2 ur arches?

suppose it depends how big ur wheels are and wot offset, mine were 17's but in a fairly good offset and £50 covered my arch work, guy basically just cut some of the plastic arch away

wot offset r ur wheels? im thinkin of gettin som wheels that r ET40 would this need alot of arch work? wot bout if i got em in 16s?

just a local garage.. guy was a bit of a butcher but it did the trick cause was really only rubbing at the front on full lock. so thats fixed and i didn't get ripped off

pretty sure mine were a 47 offset, and thats why i didn't need alot. mind you i still can't get anyone in the back without it rubbing over bumps!

so u reckon ill b ok wiv 17s 40 offset dropped 60mm, or u think ill need major arch work?

don't think you will need major archwork, but it all depends what you will be happy with, i don't mind mine rubbing slightly at the back cause noone ever in it, but some people would find it really anoying and would need more done.

not a hope, loads of arch mods for that and you wont be able to have rear passengers.

i have 17's et 45 lowered 60mm and i have done loads to the arch, i can now carry a full car without rubbing atall.

u just debolted it cut away the metal arch and put bumpstops in wasnt it kris.
i have my 17's now geting them put on next week, geting arches debolted and metal arch cut, not bothering with bumpstops yet.
one question though kris did u cut the plastic arch down as well?

kris has a 5 door so rear arches are smaller as well

did it myself so it didnt cost be anything. i cut the metal work up about 1 1/2 inch, how much this did im not sure cos i have different archs anyway, cant comment on the plastic archs cos ive done away with em. that stopped all the rubbing on the side wall. the next problem i had was the wheels were catchingon the inner arch, bumpstops solved this.
