Similar situation to the Civic and Rover video that was posted a while ago, but I reckon this could have been avoided by the red car.
What do you think?

not sure what to make of that one, the guy in the white car had more options than the guy in front of him

The red one should have taken the same route as the white one, as you could see the one that lost control was coming back onto the track.

May have been able to avoid it, but you can see the rear of the red one start to lose traction, I think it was the gut instinct of the red driver to correct that. He may have felt if he didnt attempt to correct it the rear of his car would have swung round and hit the 1st one.

Always head for where the cars is not where it's going. If it's moving it should be gone by the time you to it.

The red Porsche was committed to the corner to the point where the back end was starting to step out, I think the crash risk was pretty high however he reacted. That's my opinion with the added benefit of hindsight too. I think he'd have been incredibly lucky if he had managed to avoid any damage.
This is a race scenario too rather than a trackday so the potential of gaining a place may have an affect on just how brave the driver was feeling.
It also would've made it difficult to judge because the front Porsche started sliding, recovered it and then lost it again which is why it would be so hard to react.
In summary, racing incident, get it fixed and crack on.
